Mapping Stereotypes Translated in Chinese

I’ve always been cautious with translations of my Mapping Stereotypes project because a lot of the humor gets lost in the process but I was really impressed when I saw 10 whole maps thoroughly translated in Chinese. I have no idea who exactly did the translations or even how successful they are but the painstaking attention to detail suggest the work is not amateur. If I understand correctly, the translations are signed by “xiaolizi”. I found them on this page.

  • This book is so interesting that I have seen it in French, Russian, German, That might be crazy, but will you try to publish a book “edition of Atlas of Prejudice Chinese”.?

  • This one is quite popular on the biggest social media platforms called “weibo” in China. And no worries about the translation, it’s funny in Chinese too. It’s very impressive~~~and you should draw another one “World according to Chinese” as Chinese people also have very different ideas about various parts of the world. :)
