MagmaWave Font

Typography of Doom

Any wanna be world-domination villain is fascinated by doomsday devices and I’m not an exception. The MagmaWave Font is designed especially for those reverse countdown display screens we all cherish and love. It’s a low viscosity, sans-serif font fusion of elegant Art Deco romanticism and compulsive high-tech obsession.

Language Support

The MagmaWave Caps Font supports the Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement and Latin Extended-A Unicode ranges. It also has support for general punctuation and the most commonly used mathematical operators. Even though that should be enough for a standard Hollywood doomsday device, I may consider expanding the character set in the near future. If there’s such a thing as a “near future” of course.

alphadesigner, we would like to use this font in our business logo.  do we need a special license/permission for this or are these only necessary if we were distributing the font?  Please let me know.  Thank you.

Distribution of the font is actually free as long as you don't charge for it and you don't modify the installation package (the zip file). But you do need a special license if you intend to use the font for anything business-related (commercial use). At this point the font doesn't have a commercial version that can be purchased from a vendor but if you really insist on using it as it is, you can make a 50$ donation via its dafont presentation page: http://www.dafont.com/magmawave-caps.font
