Love is not felt through the head. It's not felt through the heart either. It hits you in the stomach. It ignites a small black hole which slowly and painfully devours you inside out. A single look can send a shockwave through your body, a single touch can trigger an explosion. All your defences are broken. Then it pulverizes your ego and makes honey out of it. If Eros had a weapon, it wasn't an arrow. It was a bee. A whole bee hive if we have to be correct.
In Greek mythology, Eros (Greek: Eρως) was the primordial god of lust, love, and intercourse; he was also worshipped as a fertility deity. His name is the root of words such as erotic. In some myths, he was the son of the deities Aphrodite and Hermes. Like Dionysus, he was sometimes referred to as Eleutherios, "the liberator". His Roman equivalent was Cupid, "desire", also known as Amor, "love"..
See Wikipedia, Eros (mythology), (as of Feb. 29, 2008).
